terminology gets complicated quickly
for the electron vs. photon
think of it like this
electrons are matter
remember i told you about atoms?

electrons are physical pieces of matter
they have mass
they have a charge
they could probably be destroyed if you had the right technique
all of this exists on a scale that's too small to see with the naked eye, but it exists and can be physically interacted with

photons are units - packets of energy - for an electromagnetic wave
they aren't matter
they don't have mass
they don't have a charge
you can't create or destroy energy
you can only change its form

photons and electrons interact to make electricity and other forms of electromagnetic radiation work

there are x-rays and gamma-rays everywhere
they come from natural sources
it's just the concentration of them that's the problem
it's the dose that makes the poison
pretty much the only reliable way to know if there are excess levels of radiation are special sensors
or you start dying
that's the bad way to find out

what were you studying, subject?

(which you aren't)
instead of telling me that

[Baby's first rebellion. How touching.

How interesting.]
